First we did some sighting seeing around Lago Pamunha.  It is a highly planned area with buildings designed by famous architect Oscar Niemeyer.  Juscelino Kubitscek was the mayor (50's?).  He would later become president and they build Brasilia the new Capitial in four years.  Very interesting story espcecially if you're into urban planning and history.
